as Painkiller Jane by SCI FI Channel
Kristanna Loken will star in the title
role of superhero action series Painkiller Jane. 22
one-hour episodes will be produced in Vancouver.
The TV series is based on the comic
book Painkiller Jane created by Jimmy Palmiotti and Joe Quesada. Jane
Vasko is a DEA agent with the task of capturing genetically
enhanced Neuros - people with superhuman mental powers.
After being drugged and being in a
two year-coma, Jane develops superhuman abilties herself
- she has extraordinary regenerative powers, her injuries
are healing incredibly fast and Jane doesn't feel pain.

BloodRayne to become a Trilogy
The sequel to Blood Rayne is planned to be filmed
in 2007 - this time Kristanna Loken will star in a
Western-Ambience. And the planned third film shall
be set in World War II.
While Blood Rayne flopped in cinema, it turned out
satisfactory on DVD.

When Arnold Schwarzenegger met UK
Premier Tony Blair to discuss Global Warming, there
was some time left to talk in private. Arnold is
reported to be worried about Tony Blair's future
career and allegedly offered a job in Terminator
4 in case Tony needs it.
The rumor is part four shall be directed
by Jonathan Mostow and star German actor (and Arnold's
bodybuilding buddy) Ralf Moeller and Kristanna
Loken as the T-X.
Tony Blair commented this is "the best
offer he got so far - and sadly, the only one". |

DVD title: Dark Kingdom - The Dragon King
Kristanna Loken, Benno Furmann and Alicia Witt will
star in the $23 million production of mythic Teutonic
tale The Ring, which also inspired Richard Wagner's
opera "The Ring Cycle"and J.R.R. Tolkien's
The Lord of the Rings.
The fantasy adventure is the story of a simple swordsmith's
son who repeatedly saves his country, not knowing that
he is heir to a throne. Furmann stars as Siegfried the
dragon-slayer, with Loken playing Brunhild, daughter
of the god Odin, and Witt as Kriemhild, princess of
Burgund. Julian Sands and Max von Sydow also star. Uli
Edel is directing from a screenplay by Diane Duane and
Peter Morwood in cooperation with Edel from a story
by Robert Cochran. The film is being shot in Cape Town,
South Africa.
